Q: What Impact did Master Ching Hai’s fashion show have on that you remember still today, 10 years later ?
Modesto: I remember it because she (Master) surprised me by her creativity. There was this own Master's creativity and the materials the Master was using that no doubt at a distance of 10 years are still topical today. I would say maybe even more today than ten years ago. These materials are really very beautifull indeed, these silks, these snug materials undoubtedly give a somptuosity to one who wear them, these capes, also the designs, everything.
Q: Some days ago I saw on the french television the fashion trends for the next year and I had the impression that what Master has designed already 10 years ago becomes today a new trend
Modesto: Of course this is true, very true ...of course she saw much further, inside herself as a Master, in creating, in making these clothes she saw things already projected forward in time, they are still there today.
Q : Have you noticed the Fashion Show was called "The Celestial Fashion Show"?
Modesto: It's true, I remember it very well. I remember very well this celestial show exactly, the theme, the pattern was this.
Q: Didn't surprised you that someone who is teaching the meditation does the Fashion Show?
Modesto: At the beginning yes but then reflecting She externalizes her inner meditation. That's why it's right. In this case she externalizes in this way, the other person may extern in a voluntary , in a mission of another kind which is always the spirit in the proper sense of spirituality, in the sense of meditation, in the sense of thought, concentration. I think everyone of us from time to time should also do it.
....Master does things with her spirit, with her inner Self, and then she externalizes it. It can be a fashion cape, a piece of jewelry, the things she feels.
Q: The Master has never studied design. How as professional you look at Master's creations ?
Modesto: Master in this respect seems to be even more than professional in an absolute way because in my opinion she has nothing to be envious of, even regarding the famous designers because overall she actually has her own way of being creative, very personal, very elegant. the care of any detail even though we are in an oriental theme. The details is what make the most stand out the creativity of everyone of us, whoever call it the designer, creator. The combination of colors, materials, even the accessories, the accessories are here the jewels, of course they support the shirt, a dress and of course mate very well. That's why I would say she is really excellent. She externalizes her inner self to the maximum; very beautiful.
The clothes are so many, really congratulations. It is important all these materials are very beautifull...Many details... The Fashion Show was very beautifull, very interesting. Each collection, the various models were very well prepared in terms of colors, combinations are beautifull...I find that these tunics are wonderfull indeed, the theme of the tunic is in the oriental tradition but finally remains actual, .... very beutifull also the gold of the Master, somptuos clothes magnificent, this gold, snug clothes, these combinations that can seem not to mate but instead mate very well.
